Catch-up welcome program: talks, skills and workshops

Registration for Welcome at Dusk is now closed.

If you are unable to attend Welcome Week, you are invited to attend Welcome at Dusk, an intensive, catch-up orientation program held during the evening in Week 1.

Welcome at Dusk offers tailored content for local undergraduate students, international undergraduate students and postgraduate students that will prepare you for academic, professional and personal success in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

You’ll listen to talks from experts across the University of Sydney, complete a series of workshops that will build your academic skills, be connected with a Student Mentor, and network with new students and staff over food and refreshments.

You’ll be prepared for beginning your studies by:

- Gaining knowledge about your degree, your field of study, and the opportunities available to you as a student in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences

- Developing practical skills in university-level writing, academic planning, career development and more

- Building your networks, meeting new people and becoming an active part of our community

- Learning from the experience of our Student Mentors who you can ask any questions you have about starting uni.

If you will be attending Welcome at Dusk, please complete your registration here.

Once you have completed your registration, you will receive a confirmation ticket over email.
