Arts and Social Sciences International Student Undergraduate Welcome and Mentoring Program

Where: Maclaurin Hall

Your semester starts with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences International Student Welcome and Mentoring Program.

Welcome to Sydney! Starting university in a new country is exciting and full of new opportunities. It is also very common to feel nervous and uncertain about what to expect.

The International Welcome and Mentoring program will connect you with two Student Mentors. Your Student Mentors are senior international and domestic students in your field of study who will support you throughout your first semester in Australia. They will be the first ones to greet you on Welcome Day, give you a tour of the campus, and share advice on all aspects of student life and university support.

By joining the Welcome and Mentoring Program, you will:
•    Feel welcomed and make friends as soon as you arrive to University.
•    Get connected to the right services for careers advice, academic advice, health services, library services and much more!
•    Be invited to skill-building workshops, talks for international students and social activities
•    Have the opportunity to ask your senior student mentor anything about university life and receive great tips!

The Welcome and Mentoring Program starts on Monday 17 February (Welcome Day) and lasts all the way through the end of semester. Join now!
