Arts and Social Sciences International Student Undergraduate Welcome and Mentoring Program

Where: Maclaurin Hall

Your semester starts with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences International Student Welcome and Mentoring Program.

The Welcome and Mentoring Program will prepare you for academic, professional and personal success as an undergraduate international student in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. You’ll be connected with a Student Mentor in your area of study, access skills building workshops, attend exclusive talks, meet other first year students in your field of study and develop your networks at the University of Sydney.

You'll also enjoy a delicious catered lunch, a tour of the university campus, and a great opportunity to make friends before classes begin!

Depending on your student status, you can get involved with one of the following programs:

- Domestic Student Welcome and Mentoring Program
- International Student Welcome and Mentoring Program (this event)
- 25+* Welcome and Mentoring Program
- Dalyell Welcome and Mentoring Program

The Welcome and Mentoring Program starts on Monday 29 July (Welcome Day) and then continues throughout your first semester of university. Your senior Student Mentor will support you throughout and answer any questions you have about university life.

Registration is essential to join the program so you can be matched with a senior Student Mentor.
