SSPH On-campus Orientation Program
If you are interested in attending some of the School of Public Health’s information sessions in person, you will be able to attend by registering for sessions held at the School in the Edward Ford building (A27) on Thursday 1 August 2019 between 9am and 12.30pm

The day will start with one hour program sessions for students in the Master of Public Health (Norman Gregg Lecture Theatre and the Master of Global Health (Room 308).
This will be followed by Morning Tea and then training and information sessions covering Assignments, extensions and academic honesty and Being a Student at the Sydney School of Public Health.
Sessions in Learning online, Literature Searching, and Using the library will be offered in online format on the Student Support site in Canvas. This site will be available from 10th July for new students to access.
These sessions are all recommended but not compulsory, for example if you have studied here before and are a confident Library user or online learner and have experience with ‘Canvas’, you may not need to access the online learning or Library sessions.
If you want to attend the on-campus Orientation sessions you MUST register before-hand (see link in the attached schedule).
If you attend the on-campus training sessions you also have the option of picking up a hard copy of the SSPH Student Welcome Guide at the session, or from the SSPH Office for Teaching and Learning (Room 301, Edward Ford Building, open 9:00am to 4:00pm during Welcome Week). The SSPH Student Guide is also available online in the Student Hub in Canvas.
